Our school has a strong sense of belonging.About the RoleAs the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Demonstrate high-quality instructional leadership, leading teams in collaborative problem-solving, teacher development (especially for early-career teachers), collegial engagement visits, and tracking key student progress.Enact the strategic plan through the development of cohort and curriculum leaders.Oversee Inclusion and have knowledge of NCCD and NDIS.Proficiency in timetabling is essential.Engage families in their child's learning and wellbeing.Foster positive relationships and wellbeing, ensuring safety, respect, and belonging within the community.Be highly visible in classrooms, leading daily operations, managing student behaviour, and coordinating key school events.Be responsible for Year 5 and 6 cohorts and developing student leadership.Lead the high school transition process.Experience in managing and implementing change is a priority for this position.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
