About The Position
Our large site at Herons Creek comprises both a Saw Mill and Dry Mill and is staffed with a welcoming and social team.
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Mechanical Supervisor looking for a new challenge to lead our mechanical team of 9 people on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team.
The role oversees the day-to-day maintenance activities of the Herons Creek business and includes the supervision and leadership of the maintenance team.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and the Production Supervisors, you will help to ensure Pentarch is positioned well to effectively deliver on production and customer expectations through excellent up-time performance through the effective management of our maintenance programme.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
The day-to-day supervision and leadership of the mechanical team.
Diagnosing and solving complex maintenance issues.
Planning and scheduling maintenance tasks and management of inventory including critical spare parts.
Efficiently delivering our maintenance strategy to ensure total asset performance.
Overseeing our condition monitoring program, vibration and oil analysis and thermology.
The Successful Applicants Will Have
A proven track record of substantial experience within a maintenance role within the manufacturing industry.
A Mechanical trade certificate is essential.
Previous experience in supervising a comparable maintenance function.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Previous experience in MEX Maintenance Software (or similar) is highly advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A Strong focus on safety.
