Are you a skilled administration professional looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic town planning consultancy? Barr Planning is seeking an experienced Administration Coordinator to join their Newcastle Office. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office including tasks related to project recording, human resources, marketing and quality assurance.
What you'll be doing
1. Managing customer relations database and supporting the team with various administrative tasks
2. Supporting marketing activities including event coordination, and administration of the website and social media platforms
3. Supporting the administration and reporting of human resource functions
4. Supporting the development and maintenance of QA systems, processes and procedures
5. Ensure office efficiencies and functionality through coordination of hospitality, maintaining common areas, and overseeing supplies and equipment.
What we're looking for
1. Talented administrator with a dynamic personality to foster a collaborative team environment
2. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written, visual and verbal
4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Suite, and experience with website management, social media and other online platforms
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. An eye for detail with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
7. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with ability to meet deadlines
8. Qualifications in administration, business or marketing or extensive experience in office management would be favourable
