Project Overview:
The Pluto Train 2 project, managed by Woodside Energy, is an expansion of the existing Pluto LNG facility near Karratha, Western Australia. This ambitious project will increase processing capacity for Scarborough gas, boosting LNG production to approximately 5 million tonnes per annum, and expand domestic gas capacity to 225 terajoules per day. Bechtel has been selected to oversee the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) for this significant project, helping to meet the rising global demand for LNG.
What’s on Offer:
* 3:1 FIFO roster
* Fly home on the morning of day 21, paid at ordinary hours – be home the same day!
* Accrued RDO – opt to be paid during RNR or at the end of your contract
* Full-time, permanent employment with 4 weeks of annual leave and 10 days of personal leave
* $5.40 per hour site allowance
* Severance payment of 2x base hourly rate per week
* Weekly pay
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive inspections and testing of electrical equipment and installations in hazardous areas
* Identifying and documenting any defects or areas of non-compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
* Providing detailed reports and recommendations to the engineering and maintenance teams
* Collaborating with project managers, engineers and technicians to resolve identified issues
* Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all inspections and remedial actions
* Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
* Relevant trade qualifications and/or certifications in electrical inspection and testing
* Significant experience as an EEHA Inspector in the oil and gas industry
* Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
* Must hold a WA Electrical License
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Proficiency with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 60079.14 & AS/NZS 60079.17
* EEHA competencies and accreditation are no more than 3 years old
