Responsibilities
:
Reporting to the Overseer, you will assist with:
1. Cattle management, including conducting animal husbandry tasks, ensuring it is done precisely and safely
2. Farming and pasture programs, ensuring it is done precisely and safely
3. General farm duties including feeding, checking water, fencing, operating machinery, and general farm maintenance
4. Property development programs related to farm infrastructure, pastures, and cultivation.
5. Assist management to achieve production objectives
Requirements
6. You will hold a C class drivers' licence (essential)
7. You will be physically fit
8. You will be keen to learn any livestock handling skills or have experienced working on a farm (preferred)
9. You will have fabrication and welding experience (desirable)
10. You will have experience in maintaining stock and domestic water infrastructure (desirable)
11. You will be mechanically minded
12. You will have goodmunication skills
13. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team
14. You will carry out your work as directed in a precise, safe and sensible manner
15. You will be flexible and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands
16. A positive, can-do attitude is essential
