Due to significant growth, we have an exciting new opportunity available for a Head Of Maintenance in our Distribution business. Responsible for our delivery partner contract management across maintenance, asset inspection & assessment, and aerial operations for the electricity distribution networks. There are four Managers reporting into this role and our coverage is eastern and north-eastern Victoria with over 800,000 customers. This role encompasses the safety, quality and commercial excellence of agreed KPI's and performance metrics ensuring AusNet is in the top quartile of network performance and safety. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Providing overall leadership, direction and management of our multimillion-dollar Maintenance contracts on a strategic and day to day basis. Build and maintain effective relationships across internal teams at AusNet, external regulators, delivery partners and customers to enhance the overall service, standards & safety performance. Successful delivery of the annual program for each portfolio to time, cost, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction targets. Management of budget and forecast within guidelines. As well as seeking out strategic opportunities for opex and capex optimisation across the portfolio. Lead the continuous improvement of contract performance metrics which transparently reflect the performance of each revenue contract enabling the business to effectively track progress against business objectives and further drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead high performing people, culture and safety, aligned to Ausnet's leadership behaviours and values. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Extensive experience in commercial management or operational roles within regulated energy network industry (technical knowledge is also advantageous). Advanced business and commercial acumen with expertise in vendor contract development & delivery, negotiation, financial management (incl. P&L) and legal & regulatory requirements. High level of consulting, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills at senior and executive levels with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships, drive initiatives, deliver within assigned budget/quality/time parameters, and thrive in a fast-paced while successfully achieving business outcomes. Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, mentor high performing teams to achieve targets.
