Let's talk about the role:
As a Customer Service Representative at Nexus Primary Health, you will have three primary areas of responsibility. Firstly, you will excel at reception and front desk duties, providing assistance to patients, staff, and visitors. This includes managing appointments, collecting payments, and ensuring the well-being of those waiting for health services. Secondly, you will play a crucial role in our call centre, answering calls and assisting clients, patients, and healthcare professionals with various queries. Lastly, your administrative and support skills will be vital in processing correspondence, maintaining records, and providing assistance to other Nexus staff. Throughout these responsibilities, you will uphold patient confidentiality and privacy. Staff will also rotate through all Nexus locations (Wallan, Broadford, Seymour and occasionally Kinglake) within rostered opening hours and may be asked to back up their colleagues to cover leave.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
✅Excellent customer service skills and experience in multi-tasking in a busy environment.
✅Previous receptionist experience, ideally medical reception in health and community services
✅Great communication skills and an ability to think on your feet.
✅Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
✅Well-developed administration and organisational skills.
✅Competent in working with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
✅A current driver's licence and vehicle and be able to travel between Nexus sites when required.
✅Available to work weekdays between 8.00am - 7.00pm and weekends as required.
✅Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and yearly influenza.
