The Office of Human Resources is seeking an individual to plan, organize, develop, execute, maintain, and evaluate the City's training and development functions to be aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Identifying training opportunities and preparing appropriate programs. Coordinating with elected officials and department directors to identify and respond to special training needs and specific requests. Providing support services related to training and development. This position requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of college with courses in education, human resources development, workforce development, business or public administration, and two years of responsible training and development experience in public/business administration. A Master's degree and teaching experience is a plus.
Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.
