**Job Description:**
The Senior Engineer will lead the technical delivery of data within Pilot Worked Example programs through the OreAI analysis workflow. This role will sit within the Department of Material Physics, Research School of Physics, and involve close cross-disciplinary working relationships with other Senior staff in the OreAI program.
The person will manage complex engineering assignments from concept through to implementation, entailing technical specifications, detailed planning, and supervision of internal personnel and resources.
**Requirements:**
We are seeking a qualified PhD/MSc engineer with practical experience in delivering advanced geomaterials/materials science or engineering characterization and analysis programs. Experience in working on CT-based geo-material science applications is highly desirable.
The person should have experience in project management of scientific or research projects, including detailed planning and delivery of project proposals and other documents related to project management and delivery.
A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders is required.
Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are essential for this role.
