About the opportunity:
The role of Account Manager at Komatsu Underground Mining is not for the faint hearted. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you’re an integral part of our customer’s experience, liaising with engineering and mine maintenance managers and other key stakeholders to ensure we deliver on our promises.
A key component of this role will be to maximise investment in customer relationships and deliver value to our customers’ business. You’ll gather and report key information to contribute to a proactive team approach to sales growth.
Additionally, this role is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities, conducting professional and effective meetings with customers, and selling appropriate solutions from the full range of Komatsu products and services. Please note this role will require site-based work and travel. You can expect a few nights away per month.

Skills & Experience:
1. Prior experience selling parts or services within mining, construction, or industrial industries.
2. Proven experience building relationships with senior leaders and business executives
3. Demonstrated high level problem-solving skills
4. Knowledge & experience in identifying sales opportunities by listening to the needs of the customer and linking the available product offerings to match those needs.
5. A high level of drive, persistence, and resilience.
6. Great time management skills enabling you to cover a large territory and customer base.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and exposure to Salesforce desirable
8. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
9. Strong understanding of our Komatsu Soft Rock Underground Fleet of equipment and its applications will be highly advantageous.
10. Ability to create reports to show customer relationships and sales related activity.
