This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.

About this work area
As Carpenter Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market through securing high-quality carpentry and paintwork throughout the store.
Following work briefs to implement custom display solutions, including painting, tiling, floor laying, wall install, and the building of complex furniture installations.
Securing high quality, simple, and cost-conscious results in the execution of work by using best practices and following routines.
Assisting the Communication & Interior team with ad hoc tasks to ensure the store is always in shape as new.
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation of the carpentry workshop.
As a Carpenter Co-worker you are and/or you have:
A deep passion for quality, craftsmanship, and home furnishings.
A practical, hands-on mindset, where you show a strong willingness to get involved.
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines while upholding quality.
Confident and safety-conscious when performing tasks such as painting, drilling, furniture installation, and heavy lifting.
Demonstrated ability to work innovatively and collaboratively with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Ideally, prior experience in carpentry, particularly in a commercial business context.
