About the role
Brisbane Private Hospital are currently seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team on either a full time or part time basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Therrmal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
* Comply with AS/NZ standards 4187 2014, GENCA
* Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements
* Report and document all quality activities
* Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes

Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane’s leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
Essential Criteria:
* Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014
* Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
* Experience with tracking systems
* Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data base
* An interest in promoting best practice patient care
* A focus on professional development
