Assisted Outing Support Worker (Community Access based Day Program) We are a Custom-Catered Day Program for participants of the NDIS and strive to fulfill the desire for freedom and enjoyment among all of our clients. We need people who have a passion for improving the participants' quality of life.
We are looking for a number of Energetic, Passionate, Driven, Motivated, Resourceful, Confident, and Creative people to join our team to ensure the absolute most can be made out of any situation. We need staff who are independent thinkers and willing to go above and beyond for their clients to meet their needs and help them with daily tasks, including accessing the community.
We are looking for staff to allocate to specific clients on a more permanent basis as well as staff who can alternate between clients regularly in a group environment and individually by assisting them with day-to-day activities and taking them out daily to the following:
Outings: Magic, Music & Comedy Shows, Musicals, Horse Races, Circus's and Carnivals Various Sports & Gym sessions Dance / Cooking / Baking Sessions, Nail Painting, Spa Days, Gardening, Pottery, Games & Arts + Crafts Movie Cinemas, Mini Putt Putt Golf, Driving Range Golf, Karaoke, Arcade & AMF Bowling Train and Ferry Rides around Sydney & Beach Days Swimming at Aquatic Centres Cafes, Sports Clubs, Bingo, RSLs & Shopping Centres Art Galleries & Historical Museums Role Info: Regular Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday (Days can be flexible for the right candidate, although staff with Mon-Fri availability will be prioritized at this time) + Optional Saturday & Sunday subject to availability.
Shifts Available: 8:30 am - 6 pm for $5 extra an hour. Overtime, Afternoon Shifts, Weekends, and Public Holidays are sometimes available and are always optional.

Preferably, 1 year+ experience in a disability, nursing, aged care, or mental health role. No qualification required, but preferred cert 2/3+ in individual support, aged care, mental health, or community service. Car License (Red Ps or higher accepted) + Personal Car you are willing and able to transport clients in with travel cost reimbursement ($1 per kilometer) First aid certificate + CPR (must be willing to obtain) Pass an NDISWC, WWCC & Police Check (must be willing to obtain) Willingness and ability to complete free online NDIS Module Courses Willingness and ability to perform personal care on both female and male: (toileting, showering) when, where, and if needed Willingness and ability to learn and take on new challenges Ability to withstand pressure in stressful situations and problem solve quickly and effectively How do your skills match this job?
