Kent Place School seeks an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join the Business Office. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of bi-weekly and monthly payroll while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations. Additional responsibilities include preparing year-end tax forms, onboarding and benefits administration, and maintaining meticulous employee records. This role will also support the Finance team with the annual audit process and ensure accurate financial reporting of the school's salaries and benefits.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred 2-3 years of payroll and tax experience, preferably in education or a nonprofit setting Proficiency with payroll software/HRIS (Paycom preferred) and Google Suite Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax compliance Exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication skills Please submit a cover letter and resume to apply.
