We are currently recruiting for permanent part-time positions as Cleaning Services Assistants to at our RM Begg home in Kyneton, VIC.

The position:
The Cleaning Services Assistant is responsible for providing cleaning services which contribute to a safe, clean, and home-like living environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules.
2. Mopping, vacuuming and polishing floors, shampooing of carpets, damp dusting, waste management and restocking of supplies.
3. Assist with laundry practices as required.
4. Maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.
5. Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities for each task.
6. Participate in the infection control program.
7. Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties ensuring equipment is not obscuring exits and passageways.
8. Any other task not defined but within the employee's skills, as directed by the organisation.
Essential:
1. Training or experience in cleaning.
2. Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Desirable:
1. Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
2. Experience in residential aged care.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
