You’ll provide clarity and transparency on key financial drivers, helping optimise the overall financial performance of the MES portfolio and FSH. Your work will contribute to making Australia’s healthcare environment one of the best by ensuring hospital buildings and medical equipment remain safe, usable, and efficient. As a Commercial Analyst in the MES team, you’ll make a positive impact by: Updating, reconciling, and supporting the submissions of monthly invoices Leading process improvement initiatives Supporting the MES Service Delivery Manager in creating a strong governance environment and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and procedures Developing and reviewing business cases and quotation submissions Managing disputes, claims, and overall contract performance Providing analysis of the business’s financial performance, ensuring transparency to optimise outcomes Collaborating with finance to ensure accurate costings and financial analysis Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Experience working with subcontractors in a multisource environment Extensive Excel and financial modelling skills Proven experience in developing business cases and managing budgets Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation abilities Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities A customer-focused approach with a high sense of urgency to deliver results Tertiary qualifications in accounting or business As a fast-growing global company, Serco provides opportunities across various sectors such as Health, Defence, and Community Services.
