Occupational Therapy Acute Services Lead (Grade 4)
Location: St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM)
Position: Part-time, Permanent (32 hours/week)

St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapy Acute Services Lead to enhance the quality of care provided in our acute services. This leadership role aims to foster a culture of learning, teaching, and research, ensuring that our clinical practice remains at the forefront of the field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Provide strong and effective leadership in Occupational Therapy, promoting best practices, modeling excellence in clinical care, and fostering a patient-centered approach.
* Lead Acute Clinical Service Development: Spearhead initiatives that enhance clinical services, ensuring equity, access, and high-quality care for all patients.
* Education and Training: Deliver up-to-date, clinically relevant education that meets professional standards and expectations, fostering continuous development among staff and students.
* Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate within a multidisciplinary and inter-professional environment to support holistic patient care and enhance service delivery.
* Culture of Learning: Promote a culture of reflection, continuous learning, and workforce development, encouraging innovation and evidence-based practice.
* Develop an Engaged and Resilient Workforce: Foster a supportive environment that encourages staff well-being and professional growth.
The classification range for this position is VG14 - VG17 ($123,609 - $136,203 per annum, pro rata if part time).
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration and significant leadership experience in acute settings.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a passion for education and mentorship.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Completion or commencement of relevant post graduate qualifications
