Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Operates telephone system and transfers calls to the appropriate person.
* Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
* Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
* Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
* Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
* Reconciles cash drawer daily.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage customer transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and provide exceptional customer service. They must also be well-versed in performing monetary transactions and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to use and maintain cash drawer.
* Well-versed in performing monetary transactions such as giving and receiving change.
* Demonstrated ability to balance all transactions through assigned register.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
