About the Job This job is for a First Nations person with language skills, preferably in Arrernte (Western, Central or Eastern). It requires a strong understanding of traditional and western health and will see you working closely with children, young people, elders, and the community. You will promote and support family health and wellbeing outcomes for the community. The team works in a unique way, integrating with our Early Learning and Wellbeing team to deliver health promotion on country. You will work as part of a broader health team, developing and implementing family health plans.
About You Demonstrated experience in health promotion and support working with First Nations/Aboriginal communities is essential. You need to be a good communicator, able to work in a busy team environment, and have Arrernte language skills. A full driver's license is mandatory for the position.
