Project Manager (Architecture & Interior Design)

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Project Coordinator/Project Manager to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work on largescale international projects and contribute to the delivery of high-quality architectural designs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Administration:
o Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, budgets, and timelines.
o Coordinate project meetings and prepare agendas, minutes, and action items.
o Manage and distribute project updates to stakeholders and team members.
o Maintain and organize digital project files and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
* Collaboration and Coordination:
o Support the project team in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
o Assist in managing communication between internal teams and external partners.
o Help facilitate the smooth transition of information between project phases.
* Scheduling and Budget Tracking:
o Work with project managers to develop and track project schedules and deadlines.
o Assist in monitoring project budgets, highlighting discrepancies and potential issues to the project manager.
o Track expenses and prepare budget reports as needed.
* Compliance and Quality Control:
o Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and company procedures.
o Monitor project quality assurance processes, helping to maintain design standards.
o Support project teams during design reviews and project approvals.
* Problem-Solving and Support:
o Proactively identify potential project risks and suggest solutions.
o Assist in resolving issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
o Provide general support to project teams as needed.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
* Relevant certifications or training in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is a plus.
* Experience: 2-5 years of experience in project coordination or similar role within an architectural or construction firm.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project) Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge: Understanding of architectural processes, building codes, and project development phases.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
* Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management skills.
* Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships.
