Job Title: Lecturer in Secondary English and Education Impact

About the Position
The School of Education at La Trobe University has embarked on a strategic plan to revitalize its research and coursework portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and teach high-quality learning experiences that engage students through various teaching methods.
2. Demonstrate a scholarly approach to learning and teaching, contributing to disciplinary teaching pedagogy and research.
3. Stay up-to-date with innovations in teaching and learning, incorporating them into professional practice.
4. Conduct and publish high-quality Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SOLT) as part of a team or independently.
Requirements:
* PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognized by the University/profession.
* Demonstrated experience in English curriculum and pedagogy, with a deep understanding of current research and trends.
* Experience in developing innovative curriculum using evidence-based approaches for quality and impactful learning opportunities.
* Evidence of high-quality and/or high-impact research and/or SOLT conducted and published or otherwise disseminated.
Desirable Experience:
* Experience in preparing research or SOLT proposal submissions to external funding bodies.
* Success in securing research funding.
* Graduate Certificate in Higher Education or similar evidence of professional preparation for Higher Education teaching.
