AUSTIN GROUP - Support Office, 1320 Malvern Rd, Malvern, Victoria, Australia Req #331Wednesday, 12 February 2025The Role:We have big plans at the Austin Group and we’re on the hunt for a driven Group Digital Marketing Manager to join our team!This position is responsible for the development and hands-on implementation of digital marketing strategies in line with the wider marketing strategies for the Austin Group brands (Gazman, Perri Cutten and Cable). This includes performance marketing, social media, SEO, and affiliates. You will be accountable for driving relevant traffic, sales, brand awareness and customer engagement through insight-led and cost-effective digital marketing activities. Initially, this role will be more hands-on, but once on board you will be responsible for hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist as a direct report to take over the hands-on element with the Womenswear Brands, while your role will focus on optimisations, deliverables, stakeholder management and leadership.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies and roadmaps across all digital marketing channels for each managed brandWork hands-on in the set-up and daily management of SEM campaigns across Google and Microsoft, ensuring objectives, conversion goals, creative/terms, and budgets are continually optimisedDevelop and execute paid social media strategies to drive cost-effective sales, social audience growth and customer engagement across all social platforms, with the ultimate objective of building brand awareness and growing market shareManage affiliate opportunities directly with publishers utilising independent platform (i.e. Impact), ensuring objectives and placements are on-brand and commercial agreements agreed on by GM of MarketingLiaise closely with each brand's marketing team, CRM, and eCommerce teams to develop content calendars and creative to support effective SEO and digital marketing performanceWhere applicable, accountable for digital agency relationships ensuring performance activity is executed as per the agreed strategy, budgets, and timelineUndertake continuous analysis of customer data, insights, mass segment performance, competitive digital environment and use an insight-led approach to shape the digital marketing roadmapsUse your commercial acumen to build business cases and digital marketing campaigns that drive the right customer behaviours and outcomesCollaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure the marketing messages and content used in all digital marketing campaigns are aligned with the respective brands' guidelines and tone of voicesCollaborate with the brand marketing teams on the development of organic social media strategies and consult on best practice activity and community managementContinually test and learn from digital marketing campaigns to ensure you are maximizing awareness and conversionDevelop and manage closed loop reporting process across all digital channels to measure and monitor digital marketing activity effectiveness and ROI against business goals and using insights to improve future activityAs the subject matter expert, seek and provide recommendations on digital marketing best practice and enhancement opportunities that drive business growth and salesUltimately lead a team, focusing on delivery of plans against targets and budgets, applying clear and consistent Performance Management in line with our policies and valuesManage direct reports, acting as a professional role model and coach, encouraging individuals to identify new opportunities to substantially grow incomeYou will have:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant tertiary qualificationMinimum 5 years’ experience in a hands-on digital marketing role, preferably in a retail or agency environmentIdeally worked for an ecommerce brand or a brand with a digital focusDigital marketing technology experience, including a high degree of understanding of SEO, CRM and Social Media platformsUnderstanding of HTML (preferable)High understanding of web analytics using Google Analytics or similarCompetencies in MS Office, particularly in Excel for deep diving into data if requiredExcellent understanding of all facets of digital marketingAbility to work well under pressure and be flexibleStrong commercial acumenConfidence with and the aptitude to learn new technologyHigh levels of autonomy with the ability to work collaboratively within a teamStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing, change management and people skillsA detailed and focused approach to work and willingness to learnAbility to develop strong relationships with external partners including agencies and developersWe provide:A competitive salary package50% clothing discount off all of our brands (GAZMAN, Perri Cutten, & Cable)Free on-site parkingA tailored induction program to ensure you have the best introduction to the businessThe opportunity to build your career with a successful, established and trusted Australian brandFantastic work/life balanceA friendly, motivating and rewarding team environment, where achievements are recognisedA highly supportive management teamOpportunities to attend fantastic social events, annual conferences and award nightsAbout usThe Austin Group is an established Australian-owned and family-run fashion retail group that includes some of Australia’s most iconic menswear and womenswear brands.
