An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Senior CDP to join the Crafted by Matt Moran culinary team at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Reporting to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, you will work for a successful, professional and highly regarded hospitality group who is the hospitality leader in Sydney's and Brisbane iconic art's venues, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, Queensland Museum, Sydney Theatre Company and The Art Gallery of NSW.
Matt Moran is the brand ambassador of The Art Gallery of NSW, so you will also have the privilege of working closely with the Matt Moran's team to ensure a great dining experience.
About the role Based at the Art Gallery NSW Permanent position Work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure efficient food production and quality control Run your own section in a high-quality and high volume cafe environment Experience with grilling is highly valued Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality Changing menu to match Museum exhibitions Excellent career progression and development Friendly team environment led by a strong Head Chef Annual salary $80,000 plus super About you Qualifications in Cert III Commercial Cookery Experience in fast-paced cafe or events environment Excellent communication skills A passion for cooking, and be open to learning new skills in the kitchen Valid working rights in Australia About The Fresh Collective Sydney based hospitality group, The Fresh Collective, operates a portfolio of cafes, restaurants and stores and provides catering and event services in a number of iconic venues across Sydney and Brisbane including: The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Queensland Museum and UNSW.
