In May 2023, the Safe Staffing Levels Task force was established with key leaders from the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA), NSW Health, and Local Health Districts. The Task force has been working collaboratively to ensure the implementation of the Government’s commitment of 2,480 full-time equivalent staff towards the rollout of safe staffing levels over the coming years.We are actively recruiting for both permanent and temporary vacancies, with temporary vacancies ranging from 6–12-month contracts.
