Capital Projects Manager Full time Hours - Temporary role Our client is a high profile organisation with a portfolio of assets spread across metropolitan and regional SA.
An exciting temp opportunity has arisen for a experienced Capital Projects Managers to deliver asset services, and innovative capital works projects in line with state and national initiatives.
The Role The primary functions of these roles is to oversee the capital works for innovative projects from design to delivery using outstanding project and stakeholder management.
Key duties will include: Consult with internal clients to scope projects High level written and verbal communication skills Accountable for best practice project management and processes High level problem solving Budget and financial management Issue tender documents Work closely with consultants and contractors Monitor and report on project progress Attend site and project meetings Legislation knowledge Consult with both internal and external stakeholder Skills & Experience To step into this busy role you will be an experienced project manager with a minimum of 3 years experience, ideally coming from a building/capital works background with some government experience.
You will be a people person with a high level of organisation and problem solving skills.
Proven experience analysing problems, demonstrated ability to work autonomously under broad direction, and strong safety and customer service skills are essential.
A current police clearance and working with children check will be required along with a current drivers licence (fleet vehicles will be available for site visits).
You may have to travel regionallly within South Australia at times.
A tertiary qualification in architecture, asset management, project management, construction management or relevant discipline is required.
