Based on the ongoing and future direction of IT, there is a genuine desire and imperative to ensure contemporary, scalable, and effective IT transformation that is grounded in the unique Haymes Paint culture. We are about to transform our supply chain systems and need a strong Business Analyst with supply chain experience working with and providing advice on systems and being able to bridge the gap between technical and functional stakeholders. This position is an integral part of the team to capture business process, collect requirements, and communicate effectively to take senior leadership through the journey.
The role is initially offered as a 12 month contract with the possibility of extension or full-time employment.
About The Role
Capture and document functional requirements, related to business process (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Forecasting, Distribution, Inventory & WMS) Identify, recommend, and implement systems, improvements and efficiencies. Business and Systems analysis, define business logic, data mapping and governance, and creation of success criteria. Manage, configure and administer supply chain systems. Be Technical SME for Supply Chain and connecting systems. Be the business conduit between manufacturing, supply chain, finance and IT. Converting requirements into deliverable activities and outcomes. About You
Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. 5+ years' experience in business analysis. Understanding of IT application solution design, architecture, database design and technical concepts, and experience in functional specifications development. Able to understand business process and functionality to translate it into visual process maps with related business requirements (Functional and non-functional). Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations. Broad current knowledge of IT applications including supply chain planning and ERP systems. Experienced with current Master Data practices and Data Governance. Experience in a retail and/or manufacturing environment would be highly regarded. Desirable
