Surgical Planning Engineer

Corin Australia is seeking a motivated and positive individual to join our team of Surgical Planning Engineers based in Pymble, Sydney.
In this role you are responsible for the utilisation of analytical technology and patient specific instruments to aid in Total Hip Arthroplasty. This includes the analysis, interpretation, segmentation, design and development of patient specific reports and guides for orthopaedic surgeons.

To be successful you will need:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, health care or other scientific discipline
2. Extensive on the job training will be provided, however the ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, spatial awareness, be analytic & process driven.
3. Enjoy working as part of a team with strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals and a good team player
5. Ability to adapt to change efficiently and prioritise your workload to meet strict production deadlines
6. Exceptional computer literacy is a must, including strong knowledge and experience within the Microsoft Office suite of applications
It would be highly regarded to have:
7. A strong understanding of Pelvis and Femur anatomy, although full training will be provided
8. Familiarity with the Total Hip Arthroplasty
9. Experience within customer service, corporate or office setting
10. An understanding of 3D geometry mathematics and/ or experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and segmentation (Simpleware ScanIP) software
