Join our well-known client as an On-Site IT Support Technician and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional IT support in Western Sydney. Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT inquiries, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and maintain production systems, including ERP, computers, laptops, and printers.
* Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
* Provide technical support to on-site and remote staff via phone, email, and in person.
* Manage equipment records and conduct regular hardware/software checks.
* Liaise with stakeholders to resolve IT challenges and support industrial equipment software.
What You’ll Bring:
* 3+ years of IT Help Desk/Desktop support experience.
* Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and SQL.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and adaptable approach with a focus on continuous learning.
* Ability to drive (essential) and flexibility to work outside standard hours if needed.
Additional information:
* Knowledge of SCADA, PLC boards, and CCTV systems.
* Australian Citizenship or NZ/ permanent residency essential.
