We are seeking a Principal Quality Assurance and Quality Control professional to represent our client's team in Factory Acceptance Testing, ensuring all materials and equipment meet project standards.
Candidates with construction experience and knowledge of industry best practices on mine sites are ideal for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct quality control and sign-off activities.
* Influence the quality achievement culture across the project.
* Liaise with suppliers regarding quality matters, including non-conformances.
* Offer expertise in developing and implementing quality systems and initiatives.
* Review test documentation throughout the FAT phases.
* Coordinate vendors to attend site for commissioning activities.
* Identify risks and opportunities to drive efficiencies.
* Manage MDRs from collation to review and approval.
* Sign off CTPs at each stage.
* Provide technical expertise and mentorship.
* Maintain relevant discipline documentation and drawings.
This role requires a W.A A Grade Electrical license or tertiary qualifications as a minimum, along with extensive construction and commissioning experience, QA/QC inspection skills, and strong stakeholder management abilities.
Able to optimize delivery, develop trusted relationships, and balance operational excellence with commercial requirements.
