This role will predominantly be based out of Gladstone.In this role you will provide a mix of therapeutic and in-home practical care to support complex, vulnerable and often hard to reach families. This role will see you actively engage, assess and develop collaborative case plans to ensure we are prioritising the families' presenting concerns in turn preparing them to be referred to specialist support services.You will have a genuine passion for helping people who are vulnerable with previous experience working with children and families who are at risk of or engaged under the child protection act. Supplementing this you will have tertiary qualification within Human services or related discipline, a driver's license and a working with children blue card (or the ability to obtain). Previous experience working inclusively with or as a part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community would be highly regarded.What makes a difference for us?
