This integrated model offers a more cost-effective solution than traditional methods, providing our clients with innovative, always-on support tailored to their needs.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced BMS Project Technician to join our Sydney team to assist with Building Automation works.Your purpose will be to respond to Airmaster's customers’ requirements as directed, for the Automation and Controls business, and provide on and off-site engineering, technical support, maintenance, to deliver projects and repairs as required, and also provide training to apprentices.With a background in HVAC, along with strong BMS experience, your core responsibilities will be to install, fault find, repair and commission BMS and lighting installations. Product knowledge and experience with Tridium Niagara or Distech is highly advantageous.Required QualificationsExperience with controls - DDC and BMS and a strong knowledge of building mechanical servicesDeliver BMS engineering on time and within budget for controls installation and projects and to meet the expectation of the clientAbility to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructionsProvide sales support and develop opportunities for further work on customers' sitesAbility to work unsupervised and in a team environmentReliable, self-motivated and well-presentedClear verbal and written communication skills, with a pleasant phone mannerIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and office-based databasesSupport operatives in building strong client relationships based on trust and respectProvide higher level technical advice and support to Technicians and Apprentices, including high-level troubleshooting on project sites, to other team membersWilling to undergo a national police background checkStrong commitment to safe work practices is essentialA flu vaccination and Covid-19 vaccination also requiredBenefits of Working with AirmasterThe successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of working with a high performing and progressive company who enjoy an enviable reputation in the industry.
