About the Role
Latrobe City Council provides preschool programs at 25 services across our municipality. We are seeking enthusiastic educators to join our passionate preschool teams.
As a preschool additional assistant, you will provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and educational environment for children, helping them to learn and grow to their potential.
About You
We are seeking an individual with proven experience in supporting the individual needs, abilities, and interests of all children in the program. Experience working with children with additional needs would be desirable.
For this role, we are seeking applicants who have:
1. Certificate 3 in Children Services or Cert 3 in Education (Teacher's Aide/Assistant) or a willingness to work toward qualification.
2. Ability to work as a member of a cooperative team and to assist in developing good relationships and effective communication between families and Centre staff.
3. All successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.
