What's the Role:
The IT Support Technician will carry out IT operations laid out by IT management and provide administrative support for daily operation activities of the IT Department. You will also resolve work order tickets, provide hands-on and remote-controlled workstation support services, ensure proper software is available to users, troubleshoot and resolve, and carry out the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems including PCs, operating systems, hardware, and software.
As a self-motivated, driven, and experienced individual you will possess a clear understanding of a multi-location and help desk environment. Additionally, your extensive knowledge of IT allows you to effectively prioritize, research IT issues, and translate technical terms into non-technical when assisting support customers.
You are someone who loves a challenge and focuses on quality services, and process improvement. You are communicative, and responsive, and carry strong interpersonal skills. You strive to be an expert at maintaining and upgrading the computing environment to achieve great outcomes as a key member of our organization.
Key Technical Criteria:
* Microsoft Certification or equivalent experience required.
* Completion of A+ Certification, or equivalent experience required.
* Experience in a help desk/multi-location environment
* Network experience, managed switches, firewalls & wireless access points
* Software experience in Windows 10, MS Office 2013, 2016, 2019, O-365, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Bitlocker, Kaseya, VMWare, VCenter.
* Windows Server 2016 and later
* Active Directory, Exchange 2016, MDM software
* Ability to communicate needs to perform tasks whether that be software, hardware, resource assistance, and/or additional training.
This role is based in Brisbane.
