The Geological Survey of South Australia (GSSA), is a globally recognised geoscience group delivering geological research, programs, and data and information, as well as managing the South Australian Drill Core Library and collaborating with researchers, other government agencies, universities and industry on technical innovation and science. Key Selection Criteria: Please only address the dot points listed below in your application Experience in reviewing, compiling and updating information from a variety of sources and condensing key geological concepts into relevant knowledge. A sound understanding of South Australian geology is desirable. Knowledge of geoscience related matters including mineral exploration, metallogenesis, mineral systems understanding, regolith, exploration methods, economic geology and mineral resources. Experience in communicating effectively, expressing ideas clearly and coherently, both verbally and in writing, and providing high quality reports and professional advice. Qualifications: Essential: Degree majoring in geology or equivalent related field. Desirable: Industry experience Remuneration: PO2 salary range $88,255 - $ 97,667 per annum + superannuation Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week Special Conditions: This is an ongoing position. Must be eligible to work in Australia. Some out of hours work and inter/intrastate travel, including fieldwork may be required.
