About the Role
This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Cook / Chef at an ALH venue in the NORTHERN TERRITORY.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment
* Baking, grilling, steaming or boiling fish, meat, vegetables and other foods
* Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards
* Maintaining a clean workspace at all times
* Monitoring stock levels
* Keeping up with cooking techniques and methods
Requirements
What you'll need:
* Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
* Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
* An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Trade cooking qualifications are essential
* Flexible availability
