The Position:
Our Client is seeking multiple Heavy Diesel Mechanics/Fitters for Field Service Technician (Heavy Equipment) roles with experience working on heavy equipment, mobile plant, access equipment or similar to join the team in the Inner Suburbs of Perth (Welshpool).
Our Client looks after the customer and company owed equipment and provide breakdown services, fault finding and preventive and routine maintenance services on mobile equipment for the Perth Metro Region.
We offer $46-49 per hour, depending on your experience, overtime rates & on-call allowances, ongoing technical training, a fully stocked van, a centralised support centre and a supportive supervisor who will guide and mentor you.
What will you be doing?
1. Fault finding, troubleshooting & problem-solving breakdowns.
2. Undertaking scheduled maintenance and servicing.
3. Utilising your technical skills to problem solve.
4. Visiting our customers on their sites, providing a high-quality & safe service.
5. Collaborating with your team on large overhauls and commissions.
About you:
6. Experience working as a Mechanic or Fitter within the Heavy Equipment industry (Concrete Plants, Waste Plants, Construction, Farming or Automotive).
7. Must have a solid background in servicing, diagnostics and hydraulics on Plant Machinery and O.E.M's Kuboto, Hitachi, Caterpillar and most heavy mobile machinery.
8. Ability to carry out a physical role with a strong mechanical aptitude.
9. A strong commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills.
10. Hold a current Car Licence
11. Mechanical Trade as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
12. Full working rights in Australia

13. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 (payable at 6-months of service)
14. Up to $49/h + super (base rate + overtime rates)
15. Working hours Monday - Friday 7am- 3pm with opportunity for overtime (EBA rates).
