Role Overview: This role involves engaging stakeholders to meet their needs throughout projects, defining clear scopes, planning meticulously, managing budgets, overseeing design evolution, and ensuring successful construction delivery. It also entails leading a team of 6-8 members, providing guidance, and ensuring transparent project reporting.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Engaging stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Defining the project scope clearly and comprehensively to establish project boundaries and deliverables.
3. Planning the project meticulously, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
4. Overseeing the design evolution to ensure that project designs align with objectives and stakeholder requirements.
5. Managing the project budget to ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
6. Taking overall responsibility for the project during construction delivery, ensuring that all aspects are executed according to plan.
7. Procuring service delivery by selecting and managing vendors and contractors to achieve project goals.
8. Handling all internal and external project reporting to provide transparent updates on progress, issues, and outcomes.
9. Managing a team of 6-8 people, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve project objectives.
Essential to be successful in this role;
10. Experience in development management roles, particularly within government, demonstrating a strong understanding of governmental processes and regulations.
11. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders.
12. Proven ability to manage and lead teams, with a track record of successfully overseeing projects and achieving objectives.
13. Previous experience in stakeholder engagement, adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
14. Possession of a current valid National Police Check (NPC) or the capability to obtain one, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
