We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operational Readiness (Change) Lead to join Adelaide Airport's Planning & Infrastructure team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of transitioning projects to diverse and dynamic operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the effective transition of capital works to operations and overseeing the overall transition of ownership of facilities to relevant stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Ensure all operational planning and readiness requirements for facility and people-related functions are undertaken in a controlled manner for infrastructure projects.Develop and implement Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) concept of operational plans, strategies, transition to opening plans, schedules and go-live checklists.Oversee the overall transition of ownership of facilities to the relevant stakeholders.Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition of new facilities into operational status.Promote the effective integration and implementation of facilities operation and maintenance requirements throughout the design and construction phase.Plan, coordinate and oversee the development and execution of validation trials and simulations.Report and track progress, develop and present presentations, identify ORAT resources, facilitate ORAT working groups that seek to minimise disruption of current operations, and resolve issues.Lead post implementation review to capture lessons learnt.Key requirements: Tertiary qualifications in a business, project management, aviation or engineering related discipline or significant industry experience.Experience with change management methodology (PROSCI would be advantageous), process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes to projects required.Experience in managing complex, diverse and dynamic operations.Well-developed oral and written communication skills.Strong influencing and negotiation skills.Superior problem solving, decision making and organisational management skills.Demonstrated experience building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
