Only About Children Williamstown is a beautiful 80 place service led by our experienced & dedicated Director, Tania. We are looking to welcome an Assistant Director to join our leadership team at OAC Williamstown who is passionate about mentoring and guiding team. This role takes responsibility for supporting the Campus Director to deliver quality service and education to our children, team members and families.
The Assistant Director will assist with leading the team in day to day operations ensuring that Campus Quality Framework and WH&S requirements are met. You will spend time on the floor supporting the team, with dedicated time off the floor to support the Campus Director 1-2 days a week. You will ensure meaningful connections with families & children are upheld, as well as supporting the team in delivering best practice every day.
About The Role:
* Be a positive role model through coaching and mentoring team members
* Ensure every child is able to engage with educators through meaningful & open interactions
* Ensure ongoing, professional and timely communication between the campus and families
* Ensure the campus is safe for our children, team, families and visitors
* Provide childcare services that comply with the national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF), and support the Early Years Learning Framework
* Be an advocate for children's voices and maintain child safe standards

* Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
* 2-3 years experience in a leadership role
* Knowledge of relevant Early Childhood frameworks & regulations
* Strong understanding of mandatory reporting obligations
* Strong resilience with the ability to adapt to change and face challenges with a positive mindset
* Experience in building and maintaining positive team culture
