Foresight manages over 400 infrastructure assets with a focus on solar and onshore wind assets, bioenergy and waste, as well as renewable energy enabling projects, energy efficiency management solutions, social and core infrastructure projects and sustainable forestry assets.Foresight operates from 12 offices across six countries in Europe and Australia (Melbourne & Sydney).Foresight has three main divisions – Infrastructure, Private Equity and Foresight Capital Management.In Australia, Foresight is the leading independent renewable generation and infrastructure investor with over A$3.5 billion of equity funds under management.This role sits in the team which provides asset management services to Australia's renewable funds.Assets in these funds include onshore wind, solar and hydro.The team is made up of a mixture of Asset Managers, operations & maintenance, engineering, development & corporate services professionals.About the Role: Wind Technician (Electrical) The purpose of this role is to use your expertise in fault finding and problem solving to ensure the ongoing performance of the wind farm and to be available to attend to faults and emergencies during both normal working hours and after hours.This full-time role will be based on site and will work closely with the Site Manager, Engineers, Contractors, and other Technical Experts.You will: Perform the day-to-day servicing, calibrations, maintenance and repair of the Wind Turbines and associated equipment.Complete & maintain site-specific documentation, quality assurance information and entry of works into the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).Work towards achievement of Key Performance Indicators and site service objectives within a continuous improvement environment.Key experience required: Electrical trade qualification and current licence Experience in Wind Turbine maintenance and technology (desirable) Unrestricted Drivers licence Demonstrated ability to fault find and problem solve Experience working within an industrial setting A sound level of computer literacy utilising MS Office Commitment to safe work practices Instrumentation background Some mechanical experience or knowledge Ability to work autonomously Strong work ethic and high personal standards Independent and motivated, whilst having the ability to perform well in a team environment The role will be predominantly based at the Mt Millar Wind Farm site, though travel to and working at other sites may be required from time to time.If you are looking for a career in the growth sector of renewables, want to work for a leading infrastructure company and are keen to secure a great work/life balance then please apply now.Please note a successful police check and an unrestricted drivers licence are mandatory components of the role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
