About your new role :
As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a crucial role in managing and processing three separate payrolls, including one monthly (Staff) and two fortnightly (Staff and registrars). Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
* Updating and maintaining employee records, change of employee conditions, salary sacrifice arrangements, and setting up of new starters.
* Processing quarterly Superannuation payments.
* Assisting with month-end reporting including preparing month-end payroll journals.
* Handling and resolving payroll queries.
About You :
To be successful in this position you will ideally have exposure to the following :
* Previous payroll experience, ensuring a strong foundation in payroll processes.
* Desirable experience with payroll software such as ADP, HumanForce, or Tanda.
* Basic proficiency in Excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities.
* The capacity to work autonomously and take ownership of projects.
* A knack for analyzing and processing large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively, both as an independent contributor and within a close-knit team.
