SICE ANZ is a leading systems integration company operating in the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) sector.
Due to continued growth we are currently seeking an experienced control system engineer to join our team responsible for the development, integration, testing and commissioning of the PLC-based Plant Management and Control Systems (PMCS) for the West Gate Tunnel project.
The role is on-site 5-days per week.
As part of the PMCS team, this role will be responsible for: Technical requirements review and analysis Development of system functional design documentation PLC software/hardware components development, system implementation, configuration, testing and commissioning Development, review and update of design documents, including drawings Liaising with clients and third-party vendors on aspects of the design and construction, providing feedback or request for information to the designer Review vendor's specifications, technical information, datasheets, etc.
RequirementsThe preferred candidate will bring the following: Bachelor degree in a relevant field of engineering or equivalent experience Over 5 years of experience in development, integration, testing and commissioning of PLC-based automation and control systems Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA or DCS technologies – Rockwell (Allen Bradley), Schneider (Modicon), Siemens S7, Citect.
Strong experience with PLC Programming skills (e.g.
Ladder, STL, Function Blocks) Relevant experience in the delivery of Plant Management and Control Systems (PMCS) for tunnel projects is desirable Office Tools: Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
