Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the successful candidate will lead and manage the City’s budget process including long term, statutory and budget reviews. This position also will be charged with developing and maintaining quality management reporting service to the organisation to meet the reporting requirements of the City. The City has seen extensive redevelopment including new residential areas, schools, retail precincts, community facilities and transport links that continue to transform Kwinana into a unique and liveable City.What You'll NeedTo make an impact as our new Senior Management Accountant, you will need the following:Extensive experience in the provision of a Local Government’s finance services.Extensive knowledge of relevant legislations and statutory requirements that apply to the position; accounting fundamentals and standards pertaining to Local Government.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.Excellent analytical, report writing and data collection skills.
