Based at our Coburn Mineral Sands Project which is near Shark Bay (3hrs drive north of Geraldton) in the Gascoyne Region of WA and reporting to the Workshop Manager (Head Office), you'll be responsible for overseeing the short and long-term maintenance of our fleet of earthmoving equipment.Your day is going to be focused on:Supervision: Providing leadership and direction for our crew of HD Fitters, Auto Electricians, Servicepersons, and Apprentices. (25-35 personnel)Safety: Ensuring compliance with MSCS's QHSE policies and procedures.Planning: Programming the scheduled fleet maintenance.Troubleshooting: Supporting our crew with your in-depth technical knowledge of CAT and Komatsu earthmoving equipment.WHAT DO YOU NEED? Leadership experience in a similar role and strong CAT and Komatsu diagnostics knowledge is essential to be considered for this position.Mobile Plant Mechanic (or similar) trade certification.Planning and programming for regular maintenance.Knowledge of mining safety regulations – S26 desirable.Previous mining contractor experience is beneficial.National Police Check (or able to obtain).WHAT WE OFFER...
