About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Locum Speech Therapist to join our client's team in Regional Southern New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs.
* Provide therapy and counseling to patients and their families to support their communication and swallowing abilities.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to deliver holistic patient care.
* Participate in community outreach programs, including running workshops and support groups.
* Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital policies.
* Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff and speech therapy students.
Qualifications and Experience
* A degree in Speech Pathology from a recognised university.
* Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and a valid practicing certificate.
* Experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a hospital environment.
* Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, treatment methods, and therapeutic techniques.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for community outreach activities.
