Senior Platform Engineer Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure and platform solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in system administration, automation, and DevSecOps practices, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of the platforms. Key Responsibilities SCCM Administration: Design, implement, and manage SCCM components, including Distribution Points, Management Points, and reporting services. Automate and troubleshoot SCCM tasks using PowerShell scripting. Platform Management: Manage Active Directory, including Group Policies, domain controllers, and schema updates. Administer Microsoft InTune for software deployments, auto updates, and patching. Oversee Windows Server, SQL, and network infrastructure integration. DevSecOps Practices: Implement and manage pipelines using tools like TeamCity and GitHub. Integrate observability tools like Splunk and other monitoring platforms. Enhance security practices and workflows across platforms. Automation and Optimization: Develop automation scripts for administrative tasks using PowerShell and Visual Basic. Optimize platform performance and reliability through automation and proactive monitoring. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform strategies with business objectives. Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and standards. Must-Have Skills/Technologies Strong expertise in SCCM design, implementation, and administration. Advanced knowledge of Active Directory administration and operations. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting. Experience with Microsoft InTune, Windows Server, SQL, and network infrastructure. Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices and pipeline management using tools like TeamCity and GitHub. Hands-on experience with Splunk integration and observability tools. Expertise in Tanium, AWS integration, and pipeline management. Good-to-Have Skills/Technologies Experience with .NET development and Entra ID/Azure Services. Familiarity with Quest Management Products. Knowledge of Visual Basic scripting. Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for enterprise platforms. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role. Certifications in SCCM, Microsoft, or AWS technologies (preferred).
