This role will involve working on diverse and exciting design projects, including roads, railways, pedestrian paths, tunnels, and transport hubs. You will play a key part in shaping the future of infrastructure while supporting the growth and development of junior staff.The OpportunityWork independently on specific aspects of external design projects, ensuring accuracy and quality.Develop and provide guidance to junior staff, offering support and mentoring to help them reach their career goals.Participate in the design and implementation of electrical, lighting, and ITS systems for local and interstate projects.Collaborate with the team to assist in designing Electrical, Lighting, and ITS for infrastructure projects, gaining foundational knowledge and improve design strategy in electrical and ITS services.Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, gaining foundational knowledge in compliance management.Is this role right for you?A recognised tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.Experience with Lighting, Electrical, and ITS designs in a consulting environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AGi32, and PerfectLite software.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.A passion for continuous growth, creative problem-solving, and adapting to new industry trends.What we offer youAt Arup, we care about each member’s success, so we can grow together.Guided by our values, we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success.
