Intravision is seeking a new team member to join our growing team in Canberra. All applicants must be Australian citizens and have the ability to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (NV1) in order for applications to be considered. Key Responsibilities: Licensed Electrician / Data Cabler Installer Experienced Data Cabler and/or a Licensed Electrician. Fibre Optic experience will be highly regarded but not essential. Termination and Communications Rack experience Experience in Structured Cabling Installations essential Be able to work unsupervised Able to adapt and assist our teams on the delivery of structured fibre and copper cabling systems to support BMS, EMS, security and ICT installations. Fibre Technician Experience working with indoor fibre systems within customer premises as part of secure structured fibre and copper cabling systems to support BMS, EMS, security and ICT Experience in the installation, termination / splicing of fibre optic cables (Singlemode & multimode) within customer premises. Experience in certifying, clean, inspect & testing using fibre test equipment (Fluke DSX). Qualifications/Experience Current ACMA Open Cabling Licence with Structured Cabling Endorsement Experience in Data and Fibre installation. Construction Industry General Induction (white card), Asbestos Awareness, Working with Asbestos Containing Materials and Silica Awareness tickets – mandatory Current Australian drivers license Working at Heights / EWP Tickets (desirable).
