E3 Advisory, part of the Ricardo Group, is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant responsible for all financial operations, ensuring the financial health of the company while driving continuous process improvement, performance and efficiency, ensuring robust financial planning, cost management, and performance reporting. Key Accountabilities: Live the Ricardo values to achieve outstanding outcomes for the organisation and customers Manage payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow and banking relationships Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery and providing meaningful commentary for leadership Responsible for revenue recognition, manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements and reports are completed on time Sound knowledge of GST, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax and Work Cover Support internal and external audits, addressing any issues raised by auditors and ensuring compliance with Australian financial regulations. Manage and optimise the finance software and systems in place to improve reporting, financial management, and operational efficiency. Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support the business Conduct variance analysis to track financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Provide insights into key financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Support risk management and ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory standards. Essential: Bachelor of Business or equivalent. 5 years of relevant finance experience in Australia Experience with XERO Extensive experience with Excel including but not limited to Pivot tables, Xlookup, Conditional formatting, and If statements.
