We have an opportunity for a full-time People & Culture - Recruitment Advisor to join the People & Culture Shared Services Team.This role will support the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, while ensuring alignment with operational objectives and organisational policies and procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Shared Services Team managing end-to-end recruitment practices and ensuring consistency with MRC's culture and values.Provide advice and support on recruitment processes and practices; and contribute to broader P&C projects related to onboarding and talent management. What will your responsibilities be? Provide advice on existing position descriptions, advertising content, and options for publication. Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including shortlisting, interviewing, reference checks, and managing correspondence and contracts, while advising hiring managers on staff selection. Work collaboratively with both MRC and PLG to generate advertisements and track recruitment volumes weekly. Maintain accurate records for all probity checks and manage HRIS system and databases for accuracy and work to develop a pipeline of potential candidates across both MRC and PLG. Generate all employment documentation (onboarding, contracts, variations) across PLG and MRC. Assist the Shared Services Manager and wider P&C team in the development and implementation of BAU (Business as usual), ad-hoc administrative duties, and projects. Work collaboratively with third-party suppliers and recruitment agencies as required. Providing recruitment training sessions for new hiring managers as required. Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years' experience as a Recruiter or in an HR Advisory role with a strong focus on recruitment and selection. Formal qualification in Human Resources or related fields. Experience with recruitment systems alongside job posting sites including but not limited to Seek and LinkedIn. Experience confidently managing end-to-end recruitment processes for both casual and permanent positions at all levels. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrated success in liaising with stakeholders to achieve HR Business objectives (e.g., talent sourcing, recruitment advice, and remuneration). Great time management and prioritisation skills. Operate with a continuous improvement mindset and have a desire to make meaningful changes to improve practices and efficiency. What's in it for you?
